IBS and Emergency Rooms

In my time writing about IBS, I have heard way too many tales of poor treatment of IBS patients in emergency rooms. This is an outrage! Although I know that emergency room workers have high-stress jobs and are often over-worked as they work in under-staffed units, there is no excuse for treating a patient poorly. In order to help to ensure that you have a good experience should your IBS symptoms get so severe that you feel you need immediate care, I offer these tips:
