As all of you well know, it is sometimes hard to identify what really triggers your IBS. Is it stress, hormones or something you ate? Because symptoms sometimes are worsened after eating, it becomes really tempting to pinpoint certain foods as culprits. However, using such a hodge-podge approach may lead to unnecessary restrictions in your diet. The best way to be sure that you have accurately identified a trigger food is through the use of an elimination diet. It takes patience, but the results may be well worth it.
