We are in the heart of GERD Awareness Week. Although I don't know for sure, it is hard to believe that it is strictly a coincidence that GERD awareness is highlighted on the same week that Americans traditionally stuff themselves silly on Thanksgiving. (1) Nigel says:

After 8 years with IBS I had my second trip to the GI specialist for endoscopy. By chance they decided to do an upper endo and found upper gastritis. I am now permenantly on a PPI (antacid) and it has brought some relief to my IBS symptoms. It make me realise that digestion starts from the top … just putting it out there, it may help other. I have been monitoring this closely with my medical diary.

Cheers
Nigel
