Pain
- I was told that I may have IBS in 2010, after 4 years being in & out of hospital over a dozen times with lower abdominal pain. It is a nightmare, stress is what sets it off for me to the point I just collapse. Some people thought I was making it all up.

- Does anyone else have bladder pain, frequent urination ? Have studied FODMAPs, taken all wheat, etc. out of my diet, apples, pears, grapes, dairy, caffeine, wine and mostly feel great. Then yesterday two little slices of Gluten-free bread set it all off again! Mostly live on soups, veggies, fruit, nuts and a little meat---nothing out of packets, bottles, jars from supermarkets. Make biscuits with cornflour, egg & nuts when the sweet tooth demands!!

the pain
- I have had this condition since I was 14 - I am 17 now. I hardily have a social life because the pain can last all day the nausea is the worst. I don't eat because I'm frightened the pain will become more intense. My sleeping pattern is well off track and to top it all off I get bad headaches. It's basically destroyed my life.

Worse symptoms
- My absolute worse symptoms are diarrhea that is unpredictable and lower pain in my gut. I have had IBS for 25+ years, but the last while it seems my diarrhea is worse. Ugghhhhhhh

It has been 10 years of pain
- I think my IBS may have started with a bout of food poisoning, I can't remember any problems before that. Then 10 years ago I had all the removal of all female bits operation and that is when it really started. There is, it seems, always a new and exiting symptom to look forward to. Last year the pain was in my lower right abdomen and into my right hip. A few months ago it was in my diaphragm and now I have had 2 weeks of pain in my left lower abdomen and bladder. I feels as if someone is constantly twisting my guts. I am taking an antispasmodic and ibuprofen for this episode. I have a box of various drugs which I take depending on how the IBS is manifesting itself. Thank God I am now retired. Attending an important meeting when its all going on down there is a stress only we can understand. Probiotics help a bit. It is not a cure but worth trying. Love to you all.

HELP ME !!
- I don't have BMs .Just for me to BM once a month, I'm on the toilet a minimum of 5-7HRS. I use between 5-15 suppositories, take stool softeners daily, on poopday-I use 3-6 stool softeners, I have to eat tums while sitting there b/cuz I'm so sick to my stomach.I do vomit,I pass out several times while trying to go,my teenage kids stay in the bathroom w/me (1boy,1girl). I also can't fart,I know it sounds weird,but the pain is beyond toothaches & giving natural(no meds)birth to a 12 lb baby. I'm NOT stretching the truth in the least bit either! I sweat, puke, pass out, shake, freeze, break out into hives, nearly go into panic attacks...you name it. AFTER I finally have an elephant sized BM, I bleed, hurt all over, I'm weak, in pain for @least 5 or 6days. My husband doesn't understand. He thinks I'm using it as an excuse. He has NO idea. It's EMBARRASSING!

Pain
- I need help, I think I am depressed because of my stomach issues. I went to three doctors and they stated they can not explain my stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, bloating, food coming back up in throat and unable to remove bowels. Please give me some advice, I take three medications daily for my stomach and when I am in pain I take tramadol.

Severe weakness and pain
- I start with cramps then my eyes and face turn red,feel weird in my eyes. Then very bad cramps and severe weakness all over. I end up laying on the floor in This takes a lot out of me. Do take pills on the onset and seems to help.between using bathroom. Also have vomited with this at times.I feel so very sick,then I go and it seems to start letting up.

Bowel Movements Anxiety
- I am 21 years old and have been dealing with IBS symptoms for a couple years. Within this last year the symptoms have gotten a lot worse. I started having extreme cramping in lower and upper stomach, nausea, and countless bowel movements, without any relief. I also suffer from acid reflux which makes me feel even worse. I went to the doctor and finally had the nerve to talk about it. I was prescribed an antispasmodic for the cramping, and it has really helped. I take it 3 times a day. The only problem is this medicine does not stop the frequent bowel movements, and I still have constipation. I think the worse thing of all now is the constant anxiety of it all. I am always worried about whether wherever I'm going has a bathroom, and will I have that uncomfortable cramping. This problem is affecting my life horribly, I just want to forget about it, and live happily. I am too young to feel like I have to stay in my house all the time. :(

Pain and Nausea
- I have been having symptoms for about a year and a half now, though they worsened in July of 2010, to the point where I had to be hospitalized for 2 weeks, as I was no longer eating or drinking, the pain just wasn't worth it and even the thought of food had me sick to my stomach. The pain is still unbearable and the antispasmodics my doctor prescribed has never worked, I am at my wit's end, I'm 19 and this is affecting me going to work and school, I don't know what to do?!?!

- it changed me...now i'm totally a different person...everyone wondering ..what's wrong with me...?! they don't really understand how it affect my life...sometimes i feel like i'm nothing...useless...but after all i thanks god cause somewhere there are people who are suffering more than us...but yea still feel bad..feel sorry on my self.

Sick of it all
- I don't know if I have IBS. I dread eating. I love food and I love to cook..But I always seem to get diarrhea very shortly after eating. I have lost 10 pounds in the past two weeks. I hardly eat anymore because I don't want to deal with the diarrhea. My stomach hurts after eating anything, I hate it. Lately..my stomach has been feeling bloated and gassy and very uncomfortable. I am miserable. What is a safe food I can eat? I don't eat all day and end up with horrible headaches. What is wrong with me? I don't have medical insurance so I don't want to go see a doctor. Ugh. =/
